Designed for our youngest visitors, Babes in the Woods will be a safe exploration area for toddlers three years and younger.
Brain activity from prenatal to three years old is the most expansive period of brain activity. Babes in the Woods provides experiences that support infants' and toddlers' rapidly developing brains and demonstrates how children learn at this crucial age. Cause and effect activities, gross motor challenges, curiosity rewards, and safe risk taking will keep these babes engrossed until nap time. Mom, Dad, and other caregivers will witness how specific activities impact learning. Access to resources and clear messaging will support new and expecting parents at this exciting time in their family's development. The themed environment will reflect our region's woodlands and waterways. By designing the environment to the needs of our little ones and their caregivers, Babes in the Woods will offer a nourishing atmosphere for our developing families.
