No children's museum would be complete without water play! This is the area where children of all ages put on a waterproof apron and get to splash around.
From making sudsy bubbles to racing boats down the rapids, children will connect to water and have a blast doing so. With the Minnesota River close by, it's hard to miss how many communities throughout southern Minnesota are connected by the river. Exploring the Minnesota River through hands-on water play leads to a greater understanding of the culture, topography, and geography of southern Minnesota. A connection to the river and nature is good for development and it's good for the river.
"Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. The moment you know how, you begin to die a little. The artist never entirely knows. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark."
