Color Scavenger Hunt | CMSMatHome

It’s time for a Toddler Wednesday session with #CMSMatHome!

We’re going on a color scavenger hunt today. Cut some construction paper of different colors into rectangles or other shapes, then encourage your toddler to find items that are the same color as the paper cards. You can search in your home, your yard, or your neighborhood. As you explore, you can repeat the names of the colors you call out, and find.

To further your learning, read books about colors, such as “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?,” by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle, “Blue Hat, Green Hat,” by Sandra Boynton,” or “Mouse Paint,” by Ellen Stoll Walsh.
