Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and development of CMSM buildings and grounds. This role is a full time, 40 hour/week, exempt position.

Front Desk Attendant

( Full-Time Position)

The Front Desk team has the responsibility of working in a fast-paced environment and overseeing the Museum’s front desk, café and gift shop while on duty. Weekday (Tuesday-Friday) and weekend availability are expected, as well as availability for additional hours for special events and programs. This position is a non-exempt, full-time role at 30 hours per week. Excellent customer service, a commitment to continued improvement and efficiency of Museum practices, attention to detail, self-motivation and flexibility, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while dealing with the unexpected should be key attributes that describe you as a worker.

Custodian

As CMSM’s Custodian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial and housekeeping functions to maintain the cleanliness and care of the Museum.  This part-time position requires availability to work evenings and some weekends. Key attributes include dependability, self-motivated, flexible, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while addressing the unexpected. Guest & Museum Experience

Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, the Guest & Museum Experience position is a full time, 40 hour/week, non-exempt position. The Guest & Museum Experience position is a contributing member of the Museum Experiences and Environments team and acts as a cross -departmental support staff in the Museums gallery and exhibit space, leading Playworkers, interacting with and engaging children and families at the Museum and supporting the Museum Experience Team.
