Kids Art Show
Through a culminating event, the Museum will transform into an art gallery showcasing the masterpieces crafted by our young visionaries. We invite all children ages 0-12 to submit 1-2 pieces of artwork.
Show us your mark making, your finger paintings,
Your minimalist, your maximalist, your 2D and 3D
Show us your glue piles and sparkling glitter masterpieces,
Show us your detailed lines and intentional forms,
Show us your creative language!
Drop off your artwork at the front desk during open hours the week of July 30th through August 2nd.
Gallery reception for our special artists and their supporters will be on Thursday, August 8th from 5-7pm. Please note that guests must be accompanied by a child.
Art submissions will include 2 free play passes if you are not a member, for the artist and 1 adult, to be used the night of the reception. Other friends and family attending the reception will need to pay general admission.
This activity is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
