Nature’s Harvest
Children will forage, pick, make and harvest in the newest Ag and Nature Lab exhibit – Nature’s Harvest! At the farmer’s market entrepreneur children can sell their products to parents and other children while others are in the forest foraging for mushrooms, picking blueberries, harvesting acorns and walnuts, as well as collecting honey and maple sap to make syrup. The bounty of nature provides inspiration for hand-crafted loose parts and a unique play experience as children get close to the natural world and all that it provides.
